Maintenance Technician – Belgium (Oostkam)

Job description:

• Repair and maintain production machines
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical devices (cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, tightening, etc.)
• Determine preventive or corrective interventions depending on the nature of the job (start-up, production change, etc.) or maintenance history
• Replace or repair damaged mechanical parts and components, test and adjust (gears, bearings, transmissions, etc.)
• Weld mechanical parts and components (arc welding, soldering, etc.)

• Attractive salary in line with current Belgian standards in the electricity sector, from €15.79 to €20.00 gross/hour.
• Overtime possible, paid 150%.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Good knowledge of mechanics and technology
• Knowledge of hydraulics will be an added advantage
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Driving license category B
• Physical work is not a problem for you
• You have a VCA certificate or you are willing to obtain one.
• Good knowledge of English
